This 4 hour course focuses on causes which when performed in violation of License Law, the Law of Agency, or Rules and Regulations may result in a licensee having their license censured, suspended, or revoked. Being aware of and having a true understanding of these causes will enable the licensee or registrant to better represent their client. Fundamentals of real estate valuation is a comprehensive review of the principles of property valuation. This four-hour course explores appraisal theory, purposes of appraisal, types of value, foundations of value, market value definition, highest and best use, and USPAP.
The cost approach, direct sales approach, and income approach to value are explored in detail.
